I came across an article and it discussed how Securus Technologies announced the release of JLG Technologies’ Investigator Pro 4.0, which has searchable voice. Get the latest news on Linkedin about Securus.
The software provides investigators with a way to choose a voice sample from a person who is talking to the inmate or from the inmate themselves. Investigators can then use the sample to search their database for other calls where the sample voice occurs.
The CEO of JLG is Michael Kester, and he said the software can help investigator uncover nefarious activities and gang-related activities thanks to its voice identifying feature. Not only that, but other inmates will be identified if they were called by that party.
The voice feature allows investigators to follow a person’s voice and this will allow them to answer various questions. For example, they will be able to find out who inmates are talking to and whether or not the party on the other end of the phone has been in prison. Investigators will also be able to uncover whether or not any current inmates are communicating with an inmate that has been released.
Best of all, Investigator Pro’s analysis feature can be combined with its searchable voice feature. This means the software can play a role in preventing potential crimes from ever happening.
