Hey Everyone would appreciate any guidance and/or help:
I graduated 2 years ago with a Business Management and Finance Degree and apart from some customer service experience and fraud analyst role within a bank have really failed to align my interests and passions with a career thus resulting in a career that’s failed to take off/ stagnated . I didn’t really do any sort of internship or networking whilst at uni (mainly due to Covid and still playing football at a fairly decent level and trying my utmost to further myself in that) and went to a non Russell group uni . I’ve fairly recently been laid off the role at the bank and I am struggling to find a role / grad scheme . Ive applied to many grad schemes in the last year and it simply hasn’t worked out . I’m 22 and I’m starting to worry as a lot of people around me or starting to pick up .
A few questions / dilemmas 1. Do Grad schemes offer opportunities to non Russell group students ? 2. Finances are starting to run out due to the recent lay off 3. As I haven’t really decided on an industry/ career path is there any you can recommend as one having lower barriers to entry in comparison to others 4. Is a masters helpful? 5. Is it normal to feel like this .
Thank you !
